Use of Our Services
Booking Requirements
All bookings are subject to availability and written confirmation. A booking is confirmed only after we receive the required deposit.
Payment Terms
Deposits and final payments are due according to the schedule provided during booking. Failure to make the final payment by the stated deadline may result in cancellation without refund.
Accuracy of Information
You agree to provide complete, truthful, and current information when booking, including health details, emergency contacts, and travel insurance documentation. You must notify us in writing if any information changes.
Participant Conduct
You agree to act responsibly, follow guide instructions, respect local communities and environments, and avoid behavior that endangers yourself or others. Alcohol abuse, unauthorized drone use, or leaving the group without permission is strictly prohibited. We reserve the right to remove any participant who violates these expectations or engages in illegal, unsafe, or disruptive behavior. No refund will be provided in such cases.
Intellectual Property
Your Content
If you share reviews, images, or testimonials with us, you grant Andes Adventure Visuals a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use that content for marketing and promotional purposes. You retain ownership rights.
Expedition Photography
Photos or videos taken by our guides during an expedition may include participants. These images may be used for marketing unless you notify us in writing before the expedition that you do not wish to appear in promotional materials.
Your Responsibilities
Health & Medical Disclosure
You must disclose all relevant medical conditions, allergies, medications, and any factors that may affect your safety or the safety of the group. Failure to disclose medical issues may result in removal from the expedition without refund. You are responsible for obtaining all recommended vaccinations and medications, including those for altitude-related conditions.
Equipment & Personal Gear
Participants are responsible for bringing appropriate personal gear as listed in our equipment guidelines. Andes Adventure Visuals is not responsible for lost, damaged, or inadequate personal gear, including photography equipment.
Itinerary Flexibility & Third-Party Services
Weather, Safety, and Operational Changes
Mountain environments involve unpredictable conditions. For safety reasons, itineraries, camps, schedules, and routes may change at the discretion of the guide. These adjustments do not qualify for refunds or partial refunds.
Third-Party Providers
Some services, such as mule support, transportation, lodging, and guiding assistance, may be provided by third-party operators. Andes Adventure Visuals is not liable for the acts or omissions of third-party providers.
Transportation Risks
You acknowledge that transportation by vehicle, horseback, mule, or other means involves inherent risks. Andes Adventure Visuals is not liable for injuries or losses occurring during transportation.
Assumption of Risk & Limitation of Liability
Inherent Risks
By participating, you voluntarily assume the risks inherent to high-altitude trekking and adventure photography. These include, but are not limited to, altitude sickness, rockfall, landslides, hazardous terrain, sudden weather changes, wildlife encounters, equipment failure, limited access to medical care, delayed rescue or evacuation, foodborne illness, and political or civil disruptions.
Your Responsibility for Safety
You agree to follow all safety instructions, remain with the group, and avoid independent travel away from designated routes or camps.
Liability Waiver
All participants must sign a detailed liability waiver before the expedition. Failure to sign the waiver will result in exclusion from participation without refund.
Cancellations & Termination
Removal of Participant
We may remove a participant without refund if they violate these Terms, endanger themselves or others, conceal medical conditions, fail to follow instructions, or behave in a way that disrupts the expedition.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
Entire Agreement
These Terms of Service, along with our Privacy Policy, Liability Waiver, and Cancellation Policy, constitute the full agreement between you and Andes Adventure Visuals.
